Access Humboldt has a variety of field production equipment available for use Access production. The use of this equipment must be for non-commercial use and must result in AH channel content. To reserved the equipment, members (in good standing) must be Field Certified and complete a Production Proposal form. Check out equipment list , rates, prerequisites and availability.

Flip Camera:
Standard definition camera with a USB output, mini- tripod, cables ( RCA Cable (red, yellow, white), USB Cable). Fee: Free for members. One week check-out (w/ extension one week at a time). Prerequisite: Orientation.

Field Kit (w/carrying case): Canon Camera VIXIA HV40 (w/ Instruction Manual, AC cord/ power adapter and RCA cable (red, yellow, white), Firewire, USB Cable (on Request), Stock Battery, and Impact Battery), stick (hand-held) mike w/ XLR-1/8" Mini adapter, Head Phones.
Fees: $5/day, $10/3days, $15/ Weekend (Sat. -Tue.), $20/7days. Prerequisite: Orientation and a Basic Field Certification.

Shotgun/boom Mike - Short and long tips w/ foam, camera mount, AAA batteries, boom pole, XLR cables, gaffer's tape.
Lavalier Mike - Lapel clip, windscreen.
Cables - XLR, RCA.
Adapters - XLR, 1/8', 3/4', RCA.
Dolly Spreader - Wheeled dolly for moving shots, track (for smooth effect).
Lights Kit - Four lights with stands. Fee: $5/day.
C-Stand & Sand Bags - for boom mike, lights. Fee: $3/day.
Digital Video Cassette - Fee: $3/day
DVD Copier - Four copies at a time, self-serve, must provide own DVD blanks.

Editing Bays - PC/Mac computers available w/ Final cut, Sony Vegas, Adobe Premier, Creative Suite, Motion , After Effects, Blender.
Wi-Fi - Available anywhere at the Community Media Center (CMC).
