This is a regular meeting of the AH Board of Directors. The public is welcome to attend. The meeting will be held in Building G on the campus of Eureka High School. The Public Comment session is at the top of the agenda. Speakers are limited to three minutes each. For directions call our administration office at 476-1798 or see the map on our "Contact Us" page. Paper ballots to be mailed to all current members of Access Humboldt for the annual election for directors of the board. There are two open seats for 3-year terms. Must be a member "in good standing" as of September 10, 2009 to be eligible to vote in this year's election. Ballots must be received by the League of Women Voters by October 16 to be counted. Results will be announced by League representatives at the Access Humboldt annual membership meeting, to be held during the last week of October.

The League of Women Voters of Humboldt County must receive signed, postmarked ballots by October 16. Results will be announced by the League at the annual membership meeting to be held during the last week of October. The League will not reveal the results of the election prior to that meeting to members, the board & staff of Access Humboldt, the public nor the media.

Members of Access Humboldt are invited to a catered celebration of the new Community Media Center located on the Eureka High School campus. The event will be held on Friday, October 30 beginning at 7:00 pm. To RSVP, call Access Humboldt at 476-1798 or email tracy@accesshumboldt.net. Members will be able to renew their membership at the event. Catering provided by Verbena Catering.

The annual membership meeting of Access Humboldt is held each year at the end of October. Results of the Board of Directors election will be announced by the League of Women Voters. Executive Director, Sean McLaughlin, will give an annual report to the membership. This meeting will be followed immediately by the annual organizational meeting of the Board of Directors. The directors will select board officers for the 2009/2010 board year. Agendas are attached below.
