Board of Directors open meeting - Special time

This is an open, public meeting of the AH Board of Directors. The Public Comment session is at the top of the agenda. Speakers are limited to three minutes each. The meeting will be held at the Community Media Center on the campus of Eureka High School. Please enter campus through the Faculty/Visitor/Accessible parking lot off of Del Norte Street, near J and follow the signs to the Community Media Center. The meeting agenda is posted below.
This special date combines the November and December Board meetings. There will NOT be a Board meeting on the 4th Tuesday of November nor December.

Attention College football fans: College of the Redwoods will be broadcasting all five of its home football games live on Access Humboldt Channel 8.
First broadcast is Saturday, Sept. 10 - Laney College - 3:00 pm
Next home games to be broadcast:
Saturday Oct. 8 - College of the Siskiyous - 1pm
Saturday Oct. 15 - Contra Costa College - 1pm
Saturday Nov. 5 - Solano College - 1pm
Saturday Nov. 12 - Mendocino College - 1pm

The Board Development committee announced their nominees for the upcoming Board of Directors election for two open seats. Incumbents Harold Horne and Barbara Groom will be on the ballot.
An option remains for anyone interested in also being placed on the ballot -- Any member of AH may submit a petition to be included on the ballot. The petition requires the signature of 10 members.
The deadline for submitting petitions is September 19. Anyone who submits a petition to
nominate with the requisite signatures will be included on the ballot.
Ballots will be mailed to the membership on September 30. The newly-elected Board members (top two vote-getters) will be announced at the Annual Membership meeting in late October. The board will then begin the process of selecting two appointments for one-year terms. read more »
