RueShare
Access Humboldt members can reserve production equipment and studio time online through a platform called RueShare. Here's how to get started:
Logging In:
All of our current members are already in the RueShare database, so current members just need to set up a password. Your RueShare username is the email address you use for your Access Humboldt membership.
Click this link to open RueShare, then click on the "Forgot your Password?" link at the bottom.
Click "Send Request" and the system should send you a link to set up a password within a few minutes. Check your email and follow the instructions provided in the message.
After creating a new password, you should be able to log in to RueShare and create new Productions, renew your AH membership and reserve equipment and studio time. Detailed instructions for these processes are located below.
Creating a Production
In order to reserve equipment and studio time, you will first need to create a Production. To do this (once you have successfully logged into RueShare by following the instructions above), locate and click on the Production button at the top of the main page (example at right).
On the Production page that opens up, click Create New and complete the required fields. When you are finished, click the Create button at the bottom.
Once your production has been created, you can reserve studio time and audio/video equipment.
Reserving Equipment and Facilities
After creating a Production, you can reserve equipment and studio time by selecting the assets (cameras, microphones, etc...) you will need.
Click on the Reservations tab and then click Add Reservation.
In the Reserve Assets window that opens up, click the checkboxes next to the gear you need. When you are finished, click the Request button at the bottom.
Repeat this process for Studio facilities and equipment Packages if needed by using the appropriate tabs.
Once your request is received, staff will review it and you will get an email when it has been approved.
Renew Membership
When you log in to RueShare after your membership expires (one year from the date you last signed up with Access Humboldt), you should get a Renew Membership screen that looks like the one at right (or below if you're reading this on a mobile device).
Fill out the payment information fields with a valid credit or debit card, then click the blue Renew button at the bottom of the page.
Your card will be charged $25 for a one-year individual membership (or $100 for an organizational membership, which covers up to 5 people).
After a few minutes, you should get an email confirming that your payment has been processed. If you have any trouble with the process or don't see a confirmation, you can check the status of your membership by calling Matt at 707-476-1798.
